EDUCATIONAL
SCHOLARSHIP
We empower economically disadvantaged youth in the DMV area with the resources and support they need to achieve their academic potential.
Who We Are
LAX Foundation is a non-profit organization that is focused on providing opportunities to disadvantaged youth. Our founder, an immigrant from India, was able to create a life in the United States only through his own hard work and the financial support of his family who scraped and sacrificed repeatedly to pay for his education. Living and working in the DC Metro area for almost two decades, he has seen and worked with thousands of families who are desperately trying to do the same. Smart and talented kids who could be future leaders of our communities, the country and the world are left behind because their families can’t provide the educational opportunities to properly nurture and train them.
By providing financial support to educational institutions that are unattainable to them only because they lack the resources to pay, we will help these young people grow into successful adults able to pursue their dreams and their passions. Every dollar donated to this organization will be spent for this purpose; all officers are volunteers and do not receive financial compensation from the organization.
It is our hope that we can engage with businesses and professionals who share the same understanding of this need. By focusing these resources to provide scholarship opportunities we will strengthen our community and create a better world for everyone.
